HOUSE OF FUDGE - Hobart, TASRoz Madsen, chief fudge maker and co-owner of House of Fudge has always loved to cook sweet treats and has a deep commitment to fresh, local ingredients.Along with her partner Chris and 3 boys, they have spent the last 18 months charting a new direction for their fudge. This has included improving recipes, new flavours, focusing on Tasmanian provenance and broadening their distribution networks.  They truly are a family business with all boys working with them at the Salamanca Market on Saturdays.   House of Fudge is a premium, smooth and creamy fudge which is handcrafted by us in our North Hobart commercial kitchen. We have 13 delicious, gluten free flavours. One of our key points of difference is our focus on Tasmanian provenance. In our Choc Raspberry fudge, we use plump, sweet Tasmanian raspberries. In our Salted Caramel fudge, we use sparkling white Tasman Sea Salt from the East Coast of Tasmania, just down the road from our sheep farm. Our newest Choc Lavender fudge is a collaboration with Bridestowe Estate in the North East of Tasmania and incorporates their pure culinary lavender. We are committed to embracing experimentation with more fine Tasmanian produce, so watch this space. House of Fudge has been nationally and independently acknowledged with gold and silver medals at the prestigious Australian Food Awards.
