In the Daylight is a stationery and giftware brand based in Brisbane, Australia. Our collection of paper goods feature original hand illustrated designs and beautifully crafted lettering; inspired by the simplicity and uniqueness of everyday items.
We are a husband and wife woodwork & design team who are in constant awe that we get to do what we love every day. We have a Samoyed fur baby who likes to “help” out by eating any paper he can get his paws on.
We bring together hand drawn illustrations and hand lettered typography and as not a lot of brands are doing both, we think this combination makes our products really special. Our designs are whimsical and minimalist and we aim to bring something fun and delightful into the world - we put a lot of time and care into our products and hope they help make meaningful connections and deliver a timeless heartfelt message that no text or email could convey.
All of our paper goods are proudly printed in Australia and our gorgeous timber products are handmade by us in our studio so that we can maintain complete customer satisfaction.
We select the highest quality materials to ensure our products are beautiful, well-made and considerate to our future. We use environmentally certified paper stock for all of our printed products and envelopes. This is elemental chlorine free, carbon neutral and contains recycled content.

Graphic designer, self-taught illustrator, this flower obsessed artist is driven by passion and dedication, tempered with good food and a wine or two. Growing up in South Australia’s McLaren Vale wine region, Kimberley uses bold colours and exotic flowers cleverly weaved into her choice of illustrations in a unique and exciting way. Her passion is instrumental in her desire to create beautiful pieces of art that can be used in the home and giftware industry. She is McMurtrie Illustrations. Every print produced is originally hand drawn by pencil artist Kimberley McMurtrie. No shortcuts, no digital tricks, just hours upon hours of love and commitment.
Each illustration is heavily researched prior to sketching ensuring originality and visual balance. When pencil touches paper, Kimberley has the ability to bring life to an empty page and finds comfort in the relaxing process that drawing provides. The realistic nature of every piece is created using layers of coloured pencils and graphite. Coloured areas are then blended to achieve a paint-like finish, forming beautiful pieces of art perfect for your home. One sketch can take anything between 10 - 200 hours of work which makes McMurtrie Illustrations’ prints unique from anything else currently on the market.

Wildfire Co. Design is a design and photography studio run by the creative all-rounder, Tara Jeong, based on the beautiful coastline of Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
With the ultimate goal - to create pieces that are simply beautiful.
Tara specialises in photography, stationery, art and typography, also providing simple illustration and digital content for brands. Her work is inspired by a minimalist, abstract aesthetic also drawing on organic elements found in nature.
